Tabletop Gaming Events Planned for CopperCon
Steve Jackson Games
Game: Tile Chess
Number of Players: 2 to 6
Level: Beginner through Master (although an understanding of the basic
moves of Chess are required)
Description: In Tile Chess, the traditional chess pieces move across
a virtual "board" of ever-changing size and shape. Strategy becomes more
complex; as you conquer each of your opponents, you take over their pieces!
To win, you'll have to think outside the board . . .
Tile Chess is designed for 2 to 6 players. It's even more portable
than chess - there is no board, and the tiles will fit in a pocket. You
can play on a table, a bar, the floor . . . wherever you like.
Game: Chez Greek
Number of Players: 3 to 6
Level: Beginner through Master
Description: It's the hit Chez Geek, moved to a frat house. (Or sorority.
Or both.) Pick your major. (Botany? Babes? Beer?) Tap a keg or two. Party
hard, and try not to think about Finals Week.
Game: Chez Grunt
Number of Players: 3 to 6
Level: Beginner through Master
Description: More fun than a 40-mile hike with full pack, Chez Grunt
lets you hunt for slack, better food, choice assignments . . . and even
Nookie . . . in the barracks! Chez Grunt is completely compatible, of course,
with its famous predecessor, Chez Geek.
Game: Ogre
Number of Players: 2
Level: Beginner through Master
Description: The lieutenant saw the "conning tower" cut a wake
through the rushing water, bounce once, and begin to rise. A second before
the whole shape was visible, he recognized it -- but for that second he
was frozen. And so thirty men with their minds on other things were suddenly
brought to heart-pounding alert, as the lieutenant's strangled gasp and
the huge image on his screen gave the same warning...
"Ogre!"
Game: Munchkin
Number of Players: 3 to 6
Level: Beginner through Master
Description: This award-winning card game, designed by Steve Jackson,
captures the essence of the dungeon experience . . . with none of that
stupid role-playing stuff.

and Nova Grenades . . . fighting Fanged Fuzzballs, Bionic Bimbos, and the
Brain In A Jar

of the game, and spend money and time to accumulate Slack points. You can
have a party, hang out with friends, dodge losers, and play with the cats.

and power. No ploy is too devious, no stratagem too low, as you scheme
your way to victory.
