Saturn Returns is a stand-alone that could be the first of series.
At the edge of galactic space, in a distant future; Imre Bergamasc is reborn in a body pieced together from the “hard copy” of his previous self and certain his old self was murdered. His memory and history of his prior self are not easily reassembled. He sets out to follow his fragments of memory and discover why he was found adrift at the outer reaches of space. He travels through interstellar graveyards, decaying civilizations and bizarre star systems following whispers of events that are eons old and former friends in copies of former bodies who may or may not be his cause of death. Confusing but also determining the future as others try to prevent his efforts.
This is truly a strange new world with strange ways. This is thoughtful, imaginative and compulsively readable. It is Sci-Fi mystery and action rolled into one that will tickle your brain cells. - Pam Allan
