This is a very interesting sword and sorcery fantasy set in a slightly skewed near future. Ms. Saintcrow has skillfully blended high tech with sword and sorcery to make a consistent and believable world for her plot lines to unfold in. Her characters are well developed and multi dimensional. I liked this story very much and would heartily recommend it. - William B. Whitmore
