With Red Hands is the second of the “Violet “ novels with two more in the works. Natalie Lindstrom was once of the Violets, an elite group of investigators who allow the victim to testify in court through them. She fled the darkness and the control of the institute, but when a corrupt Violet has given control to a killer, she becomes a target herself. With excellent protagonists and good plotting this is an excellent entry into the genre of Occult or paranormal mysteries. Worth the read. - Pam Allan
