Seeker

Seeker is another adventure with Alex Benedict and his assistant Chase Kolpath, who deals with antiquities thousands of years in the future.

In the twenty seventh century, two ships break away from earth and run for the stars from the theocracy that had taken over North America. The ships were the Bremerhaven, and the Seeker. They established a colony called Margolia and disappeared from history.

Thousands of years later, Alex and Chase come into possession of a cup from the Seeker and, following its record, are lead to the Seeker adrift in orbit near a lifeless planet. Margolia becomes the new Atlantis, bullets fly and people die. With people trying to kill Alex and Chase, they hardly have time to put their Nero Wolfish arrangement into profitable play, and find out what happened to Margolia.

Well written, this is a fun read and a worthwhile volume for your shelves. - Pam Allan
