Unusual Suspects brings us a dozen stories of paranormal investigation.
My favorite is Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse tale, Lucky, that tells how one insurance agent's good luck makes him a target. Other notable entries include Bogieman by Carole Nelson Douglas in which a "resurrected" Humphrey Bogart is murdered, as well as Sharon Shinn's The House of Seven Spirits which deals with a divorcee with a houseful of ghostly roommates and John Straley's Weight of the World which finds Santa Claus investigating the murder of an elf.
A delightful collection with something to please everyone. ~~ Stephanie L Bannon
