Life for the Alliance became suddenly more interesting when Maya brought Fleet General Steele Furey to Yord to join the band of Pirates. The general tells them that Fleet has been taken over by the Weevil. Meanwhile, Will has become weak and ill due to what a weevil attack has injected in him. The enemy is planning to take over the quadrant and the three ship navy of Yord looks seriously out gunned. Intrigue and coercion are rampant. How can the Yord pirates survive, much less save the quadrant. First, they have to cure Will, as well as marry Will and Shanna and ordain them King and Queen of Yord. O yes, and continue to fight the war.

With enough action for multiple books, and plot twists that keep you glued while waiting for the next shoe to drop, you wonder how the author still manages to further develop the characters while in the midst of multiple battles. Time to rush out and get this one so you’re ready for the next. I am already waiting. ~~ Pam Allan
