Ten years beyond the Darkwar, the demon hordes are still at it. The defeat of the Demon King Maarg hasn't stemmed the tide, and the demon Dahun and the mad necromancer Belasco have joined forces that Midkemia may not be able to withstand.

Raymond Feist writes a good fantasy. His rich world and well-drawn characters hold the reader to turn those pages. Time to get out the plastic and enjoy volume two. ~~ Pam Allan
